The DC Jazz Festival, presented by a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is Washington's premier jazz celebration held over Labor Day weekend at The Wharf. Spanning multiple venues including District Pier, Arena Stage, and The Anthem, the festival showcases both established jazz masters and emerging artists across ticketed and free performances. The 2026 edition (September 5-6) offers diverse programming from intimate club settings to outdoor concerts, educational initiatives, and the prestigious DCJazzPrix competition.
