Musiknfest stands as the nation's largest free music festival, a distinction it has held since its founding in 1984. The 2026 edition, running July 31 through August 9 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, maintains this legacy while showcasing the scale and ambition that has made the festival a cultural anchor in the region.

The Festival at a Glance

The statistics alone underscore Musikfest's reach: over 400 performers deliver more than 500 performances across 16 stages throughout the festival's 10-day run. Fifteen of those stages offer free admission, making professional-quality music accessible to the more than 1 million annual visitors. The paid Wind Creek Steel Stage at PNC Plaza features major headliners and carries a ticket requirement, while the remaining stages operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

The final days feature T.I. with special guest DaBaby, Bailey Zimmerman, Parker McCollum, Yellowcard and Taking Back Sunday, and AJR closing the festival on August 9.
