Paradise Music Festival: 21 Years of Northern Community Celebration

Paradise Music Festival has established itself as a distinctive gathering where music, art, and community converge in Canada's Yukon territory. Now in its 21st year, the festival returns in August 2026 for three days of celebration at Kettley's Canyon, located 38 kilometers outside Whitehorse.

The festival distinguishes itself through its foundational commitment to community: it operates as a 100% non-profit, volunteer-run organization where every ticket purchase directly supports the artists, production, and experiences. The festival's core mission centers on creating "a place where everyone is welcome to come together and celebrate the love of music, dance, art, connection, diversity, and culture."

The Experience

The three-day event runs from Friday, August 7 (1 PM) through Sunday, August 9 (4 PM). Two immersive stages showcase international and Canadian DJs performing across electronic and urban genres—house, techno, drum and bass, hip hop, glitch, and bass music. Beyond the main DJ stages, the festival features flow artists, fire performers, live musicians, and daytime workshops covering yoga, art, and movement. A vendor village provides food, artisanal goods, and merchandise.

Safety and Inclusivity

Paradise emphasizes care and community through structured policies. The festival has established a Code of Conduct and Harassment & Assault Policy binding all attendees, artists, and staff. It has partnered with REES (Respect, Educate, Empower Survivors)—a confidential reporting platform with anonymous options—to support safe spaces and proper response to misconduct.

Practical Details

Weekend passes are priced between CAD $235–$260, with single-day Saturday passes at CAD $185. Camping is included with general admission. Parking requires a separate pass: CAD $30 for standard vehicles and CAD $90 for RVs. All attendees must be 19 or older with valid ID. Gates open Friday at 1 PM and close nightly from midnight to 10 AM for rest periods; the festival site closes Sunday at 4 PM.
