Founded by Seattle DJ Bobby Akinboro ("BLAST"), BLASTFEST has become the West Coast's premier Afrobeats and Amapiano festival, celebrating the vibrant sounds of contemporary African and global urban music; the 2026 edition - its fourth year - is headlined by Wizkid, Mustard and Shenseea. Held annually at Seattle Center's Fisher Green Pavilion, the festival brings internationally acclaimed artists alongside emerging talent to a dedicated audience of music enthusiasts and culture participants.

Lineup and Programming

The 2026 edition features Wizkid, one of Africa's biggest music exports, alongside Mustard, a major force in contemporary hip-hop and Afrobeats production, and Shenseea, representing Caribbean-Afrobeats fusion. The lineup expands to include Tyler ICU, PHEELZ, and a roster of DJs including BLAST, NAYIRAM, PRINCE, ANZO, MADDER, and OHSO, creating an immersive sound environment that spans multiple Afrobeats subgenres. Emerging artists like Jesse James, Ikandilicious, SA-YOUNG, and LYBERTY round out the programming, reflecting the festival's commitment to platform new voices in the genre.

Festival Experience

Gates open at 2 PM, with a 21+ age requirement and valid ID policy enforcing a mature audience environment. General Admission ($75 starting) provides access to performances and festival amenities including food and beverage purchases and official merchandise. Enhanced GA+ ($90 starting) offers expedited entry and bar lines. VIP ($175 starting) provides front-of-stage viewing, lounge access, and complimentary champagne. The exclusive DIAMOND package ($3,000 starting) accommodates groups of 10 with dedicated seating, shade structures, and concierge service.

Safety and Community Standards

BLASTFEST maintains a zero-tolerance harassment policy, prioritizing attendee safety across all spaces.
