Country In The Park: Sacramento's Premier Country Music Festival

Country In The Park (CITP) has become Sacramento's signature country music celebration, returning to Cal Expo for 2026 with two unforgettable days of live music on May 8-9. Hosted by 105.1 KNCI, this festival brings together world-class country artists with festival activities and Northern California's best food and entertainment experiences.

Star-Studded Lineup

The 2026 lineup features country's brightest stars. Miranda Lambert headlines Saturday, May 9, with Chris Young and Kameron Marlowe also performing that day. Friday, May 8, features Jon Pardi, Turnpike Troubadours, Dylan Scott, and Ashley Cooke. The festival also welcomes emerging talent and special guest performers throughout both days, with DJ performances between major sets.

Activities & Atmosphere

Beyond the music, CITP delivers a full festival experience. Over 30 Sacramento food trucks offer dining options, while activities include the Boot Scootin' Line Dance Saloon, mechanical bull, axe throwing, rock wall, psychics, suntan lotion bar, photo booths, and cooling zones. A free Cabaret featuring live entertainment at RJ's venue runs each evening. The festival grounds feature multiple performance stages, creating an all-day party atmosphere.

Ticket Options & Accessibility

General Admission tickets start at $68 for a single day or $125 for the two-day pass. Premium options include Pit Passes ($150 single day / $280 two-day) for front-of-stage access, VIP passes ($160 single day / $300 two-day) with air-conditioned clubhouse seating and meal vouchers, and Y'All Access passes ($260 single day / $500 two-day) providing access to all festival areas plus exclusive bars and amenities. A special 4-pack of two-day General Admission passes sells for $480. CITP is all-ages, with children under 18 requiring adult accompaniment (21+). Children 12 and under receive free admission with paid adult. Foldable chairs are permitted in designated areas; ATMs, cocktails, and merchandise are available throughout.

Cal Expo Venue

Cal Expo provides the festival's spacious venue location in Sacramento, with ample parking available ($20 per day). No tailgating or overnight RV camping is permitted in the parking lots, though RV parking during event hours is available through Cal Expo's separate RV park program. Re-entry is not allowed under the venue's strict no in/outs policy.
