A Festival Built on Connection

Denim on the Diamond represents more than just a weekend of live music—it's a celebration of community that has captured the hearts of Kelowna residents since its inception. What started as two local entrepreneurs' dream to bring more music, dancing, and fun to their city has blossomed into a destination festival drawing talent from across Canada and beyond.

Returning Home

After six unforgettable years establishing itself as a cornerstone of Kelowna's music scene, Denim took a detour for a special CCMA House takeover. Now, in 2026, the festival returns to its spiritual home at City Park, the place where it all began. This homecoming carries significance—a chance to reconnect with the community that built this event into something truly special.

The 2026 Lineup

The 2026 edition brings a diverse roster of performers across three days. Friday, September 11 features Ian Asher, WUKI, and Eli & Fur. Saturday showcases Nate Smith, Goldie Boutilier, and MC4D. Sunday brings Portugal. The Man, Liam St. John, and Jimi. The festival emphasizes quality over quantity, curating a lineup that speaks to multiple musical tastes while maintaining the intimate, community-focused vibe that defines the event. Past editions have hosted Bishop Briggs, Tyler Hubbard, Kaleo, Ernest, and Bryce Vine—a testament to the festival's reach and credibility.

Experience Options

Denim caters to different festival preferences with multiple ticket tiers. General admission weekend passes start at $209 CAD and offer full three-day access at the best per-day value. Multi-day passes ($138–$229) provide flexibility, while single-day tickets ($68–$129) allow day-by-day attendance. For those seeking premium perks, the Diamond Club VIP experience ($136–$719) includes dedicated entry, exclusive VIP bars, curated food options, elevated stage views, private restrooms, complimentary snacks, and lounge seating. Sunday day passes are all-ages when accompanied by a legal guardian, making the festival accessible to families.

Community-Driven Atmosphere

What sets Denim apart is its commitment to local partnership. The festival works with local staff, vendors, and artists while creating a space for shared memories and connection. The site features no beer gardens—with a stadium liquor license, attendees can enjoy drinks throughout City Park, enhancing the open, social atmosphere. Wheelchair-accessible areas accommodate those with mobility needs, and local food vendors offer gluten-free and dairy-free options, reflecting a thoughtful approach to inclusivity.

For the 20-Something Crowd

If you're in your mid-20s seeking a music festival that feels both welcoming and well-curated, Denim on the Diamond offers compelling reasons to visit. The pricing is reasonable—weekend passes under $310 CAD make it accessible compared to larger festival lineups. The three-day format means you can choose your own adventure: hit multiple days or pick your favorite performers. Kelowna's City Park setting provides an outdoor venue atmosphere without the sprawl of massive festivals. The community-first ethos means you're supporting local musicians, vendors, and organizers rather than feeding a corporate machine.
