The Fremont Festival of the Arts is the largest free street festival west of the Mississippi, attracting over 150,000 people annually to Fremont, California. The two-day event features hundreds of art and craft booths, continuous live music on two stages, a kid-focused area with rides and games, food from nonprofits and food trucks, and beer and wine sales. Admission is completely free, and the festival has raised over $11 million for local nonprofits throughout its 40-year history.
