Kilby Block Party has evolved from its humble beginnings into Salt Lake City's largest indie music festival, celebrating the legacy of Kilby Court. Founded in 2019 and now in its seventh year, the festival has become a destination for music fans worldwide, drawing approximately 25,000 attendees each day. The 2026 edition features an exceptional lineup with international headliners Lorde, The xx, and Turnstile, alongside established artists like Hayley Williams, Modest Mouse, Father John Misty, and Japanese Breakfast, plus rising stars discovered through the festival's discovery-first approach. Set at Utah State Fairpark in west Salt Lake City, the multi-stage setup offers both established venue and a community gathering space that reinforces the festival's role as a cultural hub. The festival operates gates from 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily, ensuring attendees have a full day of music and entertainment. Beyond the stages, Kilby Block Party offers numerous amenities including food trucks, beer and liquor tents, free water stations, bike valet service through GreenBike, storage and charging lockers for attendees' belongings, and a lost and found service. The event is fully accessible with ASL interpreters available by request, accessible parking, mobility device accommodations, and service animal welcome policies. Parking options include a premium lot at 250 N 1000 W and a secondary lot at 1201 W North Temple, with limited secondary passes available as the premium lot sold out.
