Fort Wayne's Community Music Festival

Middle Waves Music Festival has been connecting the Northeast Indiana region through unique music and art experiences since its founding in 2016 by community volunteers. The festival was acquired by the Embassy Theatre, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, in summer 2023, ensuring its continued growth and community impact. By 2026, Middle Waves has established itself as a cornerstone summer event in downtown Fort Wayne's cultural calendar.

The 2026 Experience at Headwaters Park

The festival takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Lincoln Pavilion in Headwaters Park, located off Clinton Street in downtown Fort Wayne. The 2026 lineup includes Passion Pit, Beach Bunny, The Paradox, Los Aptos, and Man of the Flood, delivering a curated mix of indie rock and alternative music for an all-ages audience.

Beyond the main performances, Middle Waves creates immersive festival zones. The Art Zone invites attendees to craft flower crowns and bracelets at a glitter bar, encouraging creative expression. The Game Zone features classic yard games like cornhole and Connect 4 between sets, offering casual entertainment for all ages. A Vendor Marketplace showcases local makers selling stickers, candles, jewelry, and other goods, supporting the northeast Indiana creative economy.

Ticketing and Access

General admission adult tickets are $45, with a special rate of $10 for children 12 and under. VIP packages cost $100 and include 30-minute early entry, a private bar, exclusive restroom access, complimentary snacks and water, a cooling station, private creative activations, a concierge table, and a tasting experience. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster or in-person at the Embassy Theatre's STAR Bank box office Monday–Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM.

Accessibility and Logistics

Headwaters Park features accessible entrances, and the festival has committed to providing an accessible porta-potty. Free parking is available at downtown metered spaces after 5 p.m. and on weekends, with a downtown parking map available online. The festival operates rain or shine, with backup plans for dangerous weather conditions.

Community and Volunteer Opportunities

Middle Waves actively welcomes volunteers and invites artists, makers, small businesses, and food trucks to apply for vendor opportunities. The festival's mission centers on fostering community connection and cultural pride in Northeast Indiana through high-quality, accessible music programming.
