The Sounds of Mardi Gras festival brings together musicians and fans who celebrate authentic Dixieland jazz, blues, zydeco, swing, and rockabilly. The Festival Experience

The festival operates uniquely within a single venue — the DoubleTree by Hilton in Fresno — featuring four dedicated dance floors where bands rotate throughout the festival. This indoor setup allows attendees to move between stages and discover different performers across multiple music styles. The Fresno Dixieland Society organizes the event as a celebration where active participation is encouraged, with attendees invited to bring parasols and masquerade costumes to enhance the festive atmosphere.

Limited RV parking is available directly across from the hotel at a reasonable fee through The Boat Shoppe (559.443.1025). Tickets can be purchased online or at the festival door, with discounts available for attendees aged 30 and under, and free admission for children 18 and under when accompanied by an adult.
