A Fourth-Year Celebration of Jazz in Downtown Evansville

The WNIN Jazz Fest is returning for 2026 with an expanded two-night format that stretches the celebration across downtown Evansville and culminates in an outdoor festival experience. This fourth edition marks the most ambitious iteration yet, splitting the experience between intimate venue performances on Friday and a traditional outdoor festival on Saturday, allowing attendees to experience jazz in multiple settings within the community.

Friday's Downtown Locals Jazz Walk

The festival kicks off on Friday, July 17 with the "Downtown Locals" Jazz Walk, a multi-venue experience that brings live jazz directly into participating downtown establishments. The evening runs from 5 PM to midnight and includes stops at Entwined Wine Bar, The Main Event, Industry Bar, and Tiki on Main, with an official after-party at Mo's House beginning at 10 PM. Each venue hosts a distinct ensemble: the New Harmony Jazz Duo, The Keith Farny Jazz Collective, Jon Lutz & The Sleepwalkers, and Georgia Funkadelic all perform across the evening.
