Friday night opens with 'A Taste of New Orleans on Main'—a festive kickoff celebration on Main Street featuring New Orleans-inspired food and music. This sets the stage for Saturday and Sunday's comprehensive programming at historic Old Fort Harrod State Park, where attendees explore live performances while surrounded by centuries of Kentucky heritage.

Friday features the Circle City Sidewalk Stompers, an Indianapolis-based ensemble performing choreographed jazz routines since 1976, followed by Louisville's Hot Sauce Brass Band and a 'NOLA Jazz Jam' at 9 PM inviting musicians and listeners to participate in authentic New Orleans-style improvisation.

Saturday's 'Big Band Blast' spans 11 AM to 8:30 PM, featuring performances from the Lexington Jazz Collective and nationally recognized artists including Jamey Aebersold—a 2014 NEA Jazz Masters Award recipient and jazz education pioneer with over 60 years of influence—alongside Sofia Goodman's Nashville Jazz All-Stars, an award-winning ensemble recognized by DownBeat magazine.

Sunday emphasizes educational excellence with university jazz ensembles from Asbury University, Kentucky State University, Morehead State University, University of Louisville, and University of Kentucky.
