The Norman Juneteenth Festival stands as an annual celebration of Black culture, history, and resilience in the heart of Norman, Oklahoma. Held each June 19th at Reaves Park, the festival honors Juneteenth, which commemorates June 19, 1865, "when enslaved Black folks in Texas were finally notified that the Emancipation Proclamation had been passed two years prior."

Now in its sixth year, the festival has grown into a community cornerstone, coordinated in partnership with the City of Norman Parks and Recreation Department, the Norman Juneteenth Committee, and 2getherWeWill, a 501(c)3 nonprofit. The 2026 edition features a robust program beginning at 6 PM with a community program, followed by performances from Original Flow and the Wavvez, an Oklahoma City hip-hop group described as "an explosive and authentic hip-hop band that embodies the very essence of real, unfiltered music." The evening also includes line dancing presented by Metro Tech and concludes with a fireworks show at 9:30 PM.

Beyond music, the festival emphasizes community and local enterprise. It welcomes vendors, food trucks, games, and interactive activities designed to engage families across all ages. The event is entirely free to attend, with visitors encouraged to bring lawn chairs and support local businesses through vendor purchases. The festival also runs a Youth Art Project, inviting young artists aged 6–18 to submit two-dimensional artwork addressing "the freedom and resilience of African Americans." Additionally, a community dominoes tournament with cash prizes offers another layer of friendly competition.
