Ten Days of Global Sounds

TD Victoria International JazzFest returns for its 42nd year as one of Vancouver Island's longest-running music celebrations. Running June 19–28, 2026, the festival presents "ten hot days and nights of the coolest music in town," blending jazz with blues, funk, world, and contemporary sounds across downtown Victoria and Esquimalt.

Festival Structure and Venues

The festival operates across multiple venue types to reach different audiences. The free-to-attend TD Main Stage at Bullen Park in Esquimalt serves as the festival's heart, with lawn seating, food vendors, craft vendors, and a licensed beverage garden. The Cameron Bandshell at Beacon Hill Park provides additional outdoor performances. For ticketed experiences, the Royal Theatre hosts the Marquee Series with reserved seating, while the Coda, Studio 919, Encore Victoria, and Fathom Lounge offer intimate club settings through the Presentation Series (19+ only venues).

Headliners and Programming

The 2026 lineup features internationally recognized acts including Pink Martini, performing June 24 at the Royal Theatre; London's Kokoroko on June 22; the Miles Electric Band celebrating 100 years of Miles Davis on June 19; and the BEATrio featuring Béla Fleck, Edmar Castañeda, and Antonio Sánchez on June 23. Outdoor programming at Bullen Park includes Snacktime (June 26), Etran de L'Aïr with Wesli (June 27), and The Rumble featuring Big Chief Joseph Boudreaux Jr. (June 28). The festival also presents free workshops at the Archie Browning Sports Centre.

Access and Amenities

The festival welcomes all ages to outdoor stages and most venues, with dedicated 19+ club spaces for adults-only programming. Bullen Park is wheelchair accessible with accessible washrooms on-site. Children 12 and under receive free admission to ticketed TD Main Stage performances when accompanied by a ticket-bearing adult. All ticket purchases are final sale, and the festival operates rain or shine.
