A Celebration of Global Nashville

Celebrate Nashville Cultural Festival is Nashville's flagship multicultural community event, held annually in October at Centennial Park. The 2026 edition runs from 10 AM to 6 PM on October 3rd, offering free admission and a full day of cultural discovery.

The festival reflects a fundamental demographic reality: according to the festival's messaging, "one in six residents is foreign-born." Six Stages of Global Performance

The festival features six distinct performance venues, each highlighting different cultural traditions. The Asurion Stage at the Global Village presents "traditional cultural dance to modern fusion & blues." The Café Stage offers "fusion bands from immigrants and Nashville natives." Additional venues include Kidsville (children's entertainment), Teens United! (youth-led performances), Metro Parks Performs, and the Asian Stage.

Performance highlights span Irish step dancing, Kurdish music, West African drumming, Chinese classical arts, Russian folk dancing, Native American ceremonies, Mexican ballet folklórico, Indian classical dance, Caribbean steel bands, and Latin indie rock—with 37+ named performers representing these traditions.

Food, Marketplace, and Interactive Experiences

More than 40 food vendors serve international cuisine: "empanadas, falafels, and hot chicken to injera, gyros, and Mexican popsicles," per festival materials. The World Bazaar marketplace features hand-crafted imports and nonprofit information booths. Kidsville offers storytelling, puppet shows, and interactive arts. The International Sports Field (Chalkfest) provides games and chalk art. A parade routes through the park.
